Janna's Senior Portraits

Hidey Ho there!

I recently did some senior portraits for my cousin, Janna. She's so darn cute, it was pretty easy to take her pictures! The weather wasn't cooperating at first, but then suddenly, the rain clouds cleared, and the rain left everything so beautiful and rich with colors.

We both had fun in Northeast Minneapolis, a very fun, artsy, historic part of the city. I had Janna scaling walls to reach a couple of the cool doors used as backdrops...dangerous, but super fun!!

Lindsay and Tanner

A while ago, a friend of mine loaned me some lighting equipment, so I could try to teach myself all about it...you know...try it out. Up until this weekend, I hadn't had any spare time to actually sit down and figure it out and all that jazz. Lindsay and Tanner were more than willing to let me make them my guinea pigs, so I could try to figure out how to use this lighting.

A New Love

I hope all of you had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend.  I was very grateful for this long weekend.  It allowed me to take a couple of last-minute, unexpected shots, and it was great!
